Ways I have travelled

All aboard the Tuk Tuk

I have been making a list of different ways I have travelled. Yesterday we went on a tuk tuk. A tuk tuk has 3 wheels and you sit in the back of a van with open sides.I have also been on a yak. It was very funny because he pooed in the river! The yak ride was very bumpy. I found the aeroplane very exciting, because when you take off you get a cool feeling in your belly. Here is my list of the different ways I have travelled so far:

1. Car: just like at home but with no road rules
2. Lift: up ‘n’ down
3. Bus: rickety bouncy rides
4. Aeroplane: cool
5. Monorail: an Italian airport ride
6. Minibus: like a bus but smaller and bouncier and even more rickety
7. Taxi: like a car but with a mad driver
8. Coach: a posh bus, still rickety and bouncy
9. Escalator: up without walking
10. Travelator: along without walking
11. Sleeper train: zzzz
12. Train: even the day train had beds
13. Cable car: Dad says they’re cheating
14. Yak:  watch out for the poo
15. Tandem bike: Dad’s too slow
16. Tuk tuk: Three wheeled whizzing
17. Walking: We’ve done a lot of this

This would be cool but Mum says no.

More often running than walking

There’s always something to see from the bus

I often have to share a seat on buses

Mum shows why we haven’t been on a horse yet

I don’t think so, Mum

Even without a bike, I’m faster

Cable car over Dali

Flying is cool

So that’s what sisters are good for.

It’s better than walking up
