Mind The Gap!

What’s missing?

I woke up on the train from Chengdu to Kunming and got out of bed to go to the toilet. I could see the track, as the toilet was just a hole in the floor of the train. I washed my hands and my tongue slipped and I felt that my tooth wasn’t there!! I ran out of the toilet shouting, “Mum, Mum my tooth has come out!” We had to look everywhere on the bed. At last we found it. Mum put it in her purse to keep it safe. A man told us that in China people throw the tooth over the house for good luck.  I was sad that I wouldn’t get any money and Dad says our house is too far away to throw my tooth over! So instead I put my tooth in a jar at the end of my bed and I had a big surprise that the tooth fairy had come…..and left a note and 10 yuan (which is £1 !) The tooth fairy even wrote me a note in Chinese! It said  ” Dear Will, good luck on your journey , from T F)
