Last night we walked along the busy night market street. We saw lots of interesting foods on sticks. We saw, spiders, scorpion (its legs and sting were still wriggling!), skinned snakes, locusts, starfish, seahorse, and bugs all ready to be bar be qued!
I loved eating locust! It was on a stick so it couldn’t jump out of the pan. It tasted crunchy and a bit burnt. I have got my first wobbly tooth, but the locust didn’t make it fall out. I was the only one who liked eating the locust, Ellie said she felt sick and ran around like a headless chicken, flapping her wings. Dad has recorded us eating the locusts on the ipad!
